In observance of World No Tobacco Day, the AOMSI Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter, under the leadership of Dr. S. Jimson, organised a free Oral Cancer Screening and Awareness Camp at Koyambedu Market Complex, Chennai. Dr. Jimson emphasised the importance of community outreach as a core responsibility of oral and maxillofacial surgeons, underscoring that prevention and education are as vital as surgical intervention. The camp received significant recognition from public health authorities and the media for its social impact.
